We’re searching for a passionate Trainee Product Technologist to join our dynamic Merchandise team. This is your chance to dive into the world of Value Retail, with a specific focus on Sleepwear & Underwear - where comfort meets creativity.

WHAT TO EXPECT
- Working in a team you will gain exposure to every aspect of value retail - from Buying, Planning and Marketing to Supply Chain and Store Operations to name but a few.
- A learning journey which incorporates on-the-job training, classroom sessions and assessments to monitor and develop your progress.
- Learn to develop new and review existing quality standards and specifications for Sleepwear, Underwear, Lingerie and Swimwear products.
- Assess the implementation of standards and specifications to ensure consistent compliance.
- Work closely with the team of Buyers to deliver unequalled value in all of our intimate products.
- Exposure to manufacturing and product development in specialized areas
- Gain working knowledge of quality and product assessment principles & practices
- Learn how to compile technical briefs
- Develop and master your pattern making and grading skills
- Expect to be coached by the industry’s most successful professionals, who will help you acquire the business skills you need to build a successful career in Product Technology.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?
- Relevant qualification in Clothing Management or Fashion Design
- 2 years experience within a fashion manufacturing sample room environment Or at least 2 years experience of pattern making
- A passion for garment construction and quality of products
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Fantastic planning and organising abilities
- Excellent written and oral communication
- The ability to adapt in a fast paced environment
- Resilience and the ability to thrive under pressure
- Be open to continuous learning
