We have an exciting opportunity for a driven Accountant to join our dynamic Finance Team.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparation, filing and reconciling of Indirect Tax types and provide assistance to the Tax Manager on other tax related matters.

We're a fully in-office team. This role is based at our Support Centre in Kuils River, Cape Town.

2. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Essential:

• 3 -5 years relevant experience at Accountant level

• 2 or more years of business process related experience, or

• Completed article traineeship

Preferred:

• Project management experience
• Retail experience

3. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Essential:

• B Comm or Honours

4. JOB RELATED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

KNOWLEDGE required:

• Knowledge of Accounting principles and practices
• Good working knowledge of reconciliations (best practices and importance)
• General understanding of principles of VAT
• Knowledge of working across different departments or functions
• Systems Knowledge

• High Levels of Computer literacy – advanced Excel
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team – Self Starter
