We are on the lookout for Trainee Graphic Designer who will learn how to create Graphic Prints and Designs for Ackermans fashion ranges. Your fashion qualification and graphic design experience could give you the opportunity of a lifetime as an Ackermans 2026 Trainee.  Trainees are paid to learn!

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED TO QUALIFY?

• You absolutely MUST LOVE FASHION!
• Be able to create digital print designs in Adobe Creative Suite 
• Understanding of trend forecasts and colour palletes 
• Strong work ethic, resilience and a hunger to learn
• Fantastic planning and organising abilities
• Excellent communication skills 
• Presentation skills
• The ability to adapt in a fast paced environment
• Resilience and the ability to thrive under pressure
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Be open to continuous learning

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?

• A Degree / Diploma in Fashion Design, Art or Textile Design 
• A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in a fashion environment
• A Portfolio of graphic designs will set you apart
